XDrop AI came out of our own parent company, Treefe. Documents lived wherever they had last been needed. One agreement with one founder, another with someone else, a third in an email thread nobody could find. It worked, in the way that things work until they are tested.
Then we went out to raise for the first time, and it was tested. Assembling what an investor actually asks for took far longer than it should have, not because the documents did not exist but because nobody could say with confidence where they all were or which version was current. Every question came back by email, answered slightly differently each time.
So we built an internal document system to hold our own raise together. It did the job well enough that it became obvious the problem was not ours alone. Every first-time founder we spoke to described the same fortnight. That internal tool is what XDrop AI grew out of.
It is also why the product is shaped the way it is. The access ladder, the NDA gate, the refusal to let the AI read what an investor was not granted: none of that is a feature list assembled from competitors. It is the list of things we wanted while we were on the other side of it.

Every sub-processor, its location and what reaches it is published in our Privacy Policy rather than supplied on request.
We make no claim of SOC 2, ISO 27001 or any other formal certification. We will claim them once they have been independently audited and awarded, and not before. The absence is deliberate, and it is worth knowing how to read it: a vendor listing certifications it does not hold is telling you something about every other claim on its site.
We are also a small team and a young company. If that matters to your decision, it should. You can see exactly how the platform handles your documents on security and DPDP compliance rather than taking our word for it.
We write about the documents, filings and access decisions an Indian raise turns on. Most of it is what we wish someone had written before our first raise, and it is collected on the blog.
